pH from 0 to 14 with 0.1 resolution.
The instrument also measures conductivity
from 0 to 6000 ?S/cm and TDS from
0 to 3000 mg/L. These ranges make
HI 9811-0 perfect for use in boilers
and cooling towers, printing and
agriculture. Calibration has been
simplified to one point for both
pH and conductivity/TDS modes. HI

9813-0 • HI 9813-5 - Rugged
pH/EC/TDS Meters for Growers
HI 9813-0 allows you to measure pH,
EC (conductivity) and TDS with just
one instrument! The meter has a pH
measurement range that covers the
full spectrum. The EC range goes to
4.00 mS/cm. In the TDS range, both
instruments use a conversion factor
from 0.56 to 0.72 for fertilizer readings,
to ensure your measurements fully
conform to industry standards. HI
9813-0 and HI 9813-5 measure TDS in
the 0 to 1999 ppm range. The specially
engineered HI 1285-0 probe is interchangeable
and the pH electrode utilizes a fiber
junction and gel electrolyte which
are particularly suitable when used
in fertilizer solutions. HI 9813-5
also performs temperature measurements,
with the special probe HI 1285-5.
HI 9813-0 is supplied complete with pH/EC/TDS probe HI 1285-0, 1 m cable, pH 7 calibration solution (1 x 20 mL), 1.41 mS/cm and 1500 ppm (1 each) calibration solution, cleaning solution (2 pcs.), blue protective case, battery and instructions. HI 9813-5 is supplied complete with pH/EC/TDS/T HI 1285-5 1 m cable, pH 7 calibration solution (1 x 20 mL), 1.41 mS/cm and 1500 ppm (1 each) calibration solution, cleaning solution (2 pcs.), blue protective case, battery and instructions.

9813-6 - F.S.T. - Fail Safe Technology
Water-Resistant pH/EC/TDS/T Combined
Meter
A common pH electrode provides an
output signal equal to 0 mV if immersed
in a solution at pH 7. This output
value can also be obtained in case
of anomalies such as:
• A broken bulb in the pH electrode
• A short circuit in the cable
or connector
• Magnetic force leakage in
the cable or connector (for example,
in case of excessive humidity)
In these conditions, an instrument
will show a false reading of pH 7
on the display, so the user isn’t
able to identify that corrective measures
are necessary. To avoid this problem,
HANNA instruments ® developed
new F.S.T. technology for the new
HI 9813-6. With this special security
system, if the meter encounters incorrect
readings, the instrument doesn't’t
display values close to pH 7, but
close to pH 4, making the problem
clear to the user. To allow maximum
confidence in your measurements, the
meter is equipped with two LEDs and
a “Check” button. When
pressing this button, after immersing
the electrode in the proper solution,
HI 50021P (Cal-Check solution), one
of the LED’s will light up to
indicate the status of the meter.
The green LED (“OK”) indicates
the probe is working correctly, while
the red LED (“C&C”
Clean & Cal) indicates the electrode
needs attention.
HI 9813-6 is supplied complete with pH/EC/TDS/T HI 1285-6 probe with 1 m (3.3’) cable, pH 7, 1.41 mS/cm and 1500 ppm calibration solution (20 mL each), cleaning solution (2 pcs), HI 50021 test solution (2 pcs), blue protective case, battery and instructions.

HI 255 - Combined pH/ORP
and EC/TDS/NaCl Meter for Laboratories

The new HI 255 is the
product of 26 years of instrument
testing and design experience. It
is the first laboratory bench meter
to simultaneously perform precise,
repeatable pH and conductivity measurements.
This meter was designed to satisfy
the requests of many production and
quality control laboratories that
need quick multiple parameter measurement
results with a single precision instrument. The
pH and conductivity circuits have
been electrically separated, so that
it is not necessary for the two probes
to be simultaneously immersed in the
same solution. The conductivity probe
will not interfere with your pH measurements
and the response of the pH electrode
is immediately stable.
HI 255 is a high performance
instrument that measures within a
wide range of multiple parameters.
With this single laboratory bench
meter you can perform pH, ORP, conductivity,
TDS, NaCl percentage and temperature
measurements. pH measurements are
automatically compensated for temperature,
thanks to the external probe included
with the instrument. pH calibration
is possible in 1, 2, or 3 points between
the 5 available memorized buffers,
to ensure a higher level of precision.
EC measurements can be compensated
according to a reference temperature
of 20 or 25°C. The most suitable
range of EC and TDS is automatically
selected, and EC calibration can be
performed at 1 point. EC calibration
can be chosen between 6 memorized
buffers. Thanks to the logging function,
measurements are stored in non volatile
memory, and can be downloaded to a
PC through the RS232 serial port.
In addition to these features, HI
255 is rounded out with GLP features
that store the calibration data of
any measurement to be displayed upon
request.
HI 255 is supplied complete with HI 1131B pH electrode, HI 76310 conductivity probe, HI 7662 temperature probe, HI 76404 electrode holder, pH 4 and pH 7 buffer solutions, HI 7071S electrolyte solution, 12 Vdc power adapter and instructions.
