Ultrasonic Switches

EchoTREK HEchoTREK H

Suitable for all liquids and free flowing solids, the EchoTREK H is a low-cost non-contact level-measuring system incorporating a sensor-focusing narrow beam angle providing a stronger signal. A user-friendly plug-in LCD calibrator is available and HART digital communication protocol.

MicrosonarMicrosonar

Microsonar sensors use non-contact ultrasonic principles to detect and measure the position of an object. They act as proximity switches or transmit the measurement of the distance from sensor face to the target or object with high accuracy. The applications are too numerous to list and more information relating to your particular needs is available on request.

Hydrostatic Switches

CPR 2000 / 3000CPR 2000 / 3000

The CPR 2000 and 3000 range of compact 2-wire pressure level transmitters are designed to give continuous indication of liquids in freely-vented tanks. A 4-20mA output signal proportional to the level is provided for remote readout in analogue or digital form. The transmitters have a 1" BSP thread for external mounting on tanks up to 20 metres in height.

CPR 9000CPR 9000

Designed to meet to hygienic applications., the CPR 9000 2-wire pressure level transmitters meet the stringent requirements of the food, dairy, brewery, and pharmaceutical industries. Constructed of hygienic stainless steel and having fast-response temperature compensation, it is a highly reliable and accurate device offering a 4-20mA loop output. Differential pressure systems are also available.

DMU 03DMU 03

The DMU 03 range of pressure transmitters provides an electronic measurement of low-viscosity liquid in tanks and air/gas pressures in industrial and marine applications. The 2-wire loop-powered transmitter is fitted externally at the bottom or lower side of tank and provides a 4-20/mA output proportional to the liquid height/pressure in the vessel. Of stainless steel construction, and incorporating the latest piezo-resistive measurement technology, the DMU 03 has excellent stability and accuracy over a long service life

DMU 08 / 09DMU 08 / 09

A submersible 2-wire pressure level transmitter of stainless steel construction designed to measure liquid levels in tanks, bore holes, open reservoirs, and process materials. The unit is supplied with integral cable which incorporates a breather tube and provides a 4-20mA output. For chemical applications, special, coated cables can be provided and the DMU 09 with PTFE-coated membrane can be supplied for applications with chemicals which attack stainless steel.

TDR Switches

MicroTREK HMicroTREK H

MicroTREK level gauge operates on the well known TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) principle. Micropulses are sent along a probe guide at the velocity of light. On reaching the product surface, the pulse is reflected. The time taken for this to happen is then converted into 4-20 mA current and HART signals.
As measurement is independent of dielectric, temperature, pressure and density variations, the MicroTREK can be used on heavily dusting applications; turbulent product surface, vapour and light foam have no effect on results. Suitable for level metering of liquids, powders and granular mediums

Level Switches

Conductivity Switches

ELT 68ELT 68

The ELT68 is a special-purpose conductivity level switch with a very low resistance range for use with highly conducting liquids in dairies, breweries, ice-cream and other liquid food plants. Unaffected by foam or viscous liquids the unit can be used with either one sensing probe as a single point level switch or two sensing probes for pump/solenoid control. A built in ‘fail-safe’ selector and suitable for interface detection in pipes between e.g. beer/water, milk/water, caustic/water etc.

ELT 68CELT 68C

A self-contained all-in-one level switch designed for use with conducting liquids in dairies, breweries, ice-cream plants etc. where dense foam can cause problems with general purpose conductivity level switches. The ELT68C is capable of differentiating between dense layers of foam and the actual liquid surface which renders the unit capable of interface detection in pipes. A special feature of the ELT68C includes a built-in fail-safe selector switch, red and green LED indicators and a hygienic welding gland.

ELT 8ELT 8

The ELT8 is designed for use with electrically conducting liquids such as water, sewage etc. The unit can be used with either one sensing probe for high or low level, or two sensing probes for the automatic starting and stopping of pumps. Features adjustable settings and a fail-safe selector switch to ensure that the relays always de-energise when the alarm condition is reached.

ELT 680ELT 680

The ELT 680 is a DIN-rail mounting level switch with a very wide adjustment range, especially designed with conducting liquids in dairies, breweries, and ice-cream plants. The unit can be used with either one or two sensing probes (pump on/off). Special features on the ELT 680 include ‘sensitive range’ selection and ‘fail-safe’ selector switch. A 0-20 second timer circuit is also provided.

ELT 80ELT 80

The ELT80 is a low-cost well-proven DIN-rail level switch designed for use with electrically conductive liquids such as water, sewage etc. The unit can be used for either single point level or pump on/off control. The unit can be set and adjusted to ensure that the unit switches off at the correct level and is not affected by foam on the liquid surface.

Capacitance Switches

S 71XS 71X

Designed for detection of high/medium or low levels in tanks and process vessels containing hazardous liquids, powdered or granular materials under pressure or vacuum.

S 718S 718

The S718 capacitance level switch is designed for the detection of high, low or medium levels in silos, tanks, process vessels etc containing liquids, powdered or granular materials under pressure or vacuum. The sensitivity of the unit can be adjusted for even the most difficult of application conditions. A S718T version of the unit is available with a built-in timer.

ENT 6ENT 6

A single point capacitance level switch, the ENT6 is ideal for small tanks and hoppers containing liquids, powdered or granular materials. The plug-in design for control room or panel mounting ensures maximum ease of serviceability.

ENT 7 - Flex or Rigid ENT 7 - Flex or Rigid

A single point level switch designed to provide a switching signal at high or low levels in silos or vessels containing powders, granules or liquids. The ENT7 is housed in a compact weather and dustproof enclosure and can therefore be used in most environments with high temperature versions being available. Particularly suitable as a high-level switch for bitumen tanks.

Paddle Switches
