A range of 14 sizes of material transfer unit made from aluminium or stainless steel. Designed to convey a wide range of products both vertically and horizontally over long distances via smooth bore pipe or circular duct.
Can be used for both vacuum and blowing. Applications include cooling and drying in some manufacturing processes.
Principle of operation:
Compressed air is supplied into an outer annular ring inside the unit. This has a number of holes leading into the main tube of the device.
As the air leaves these holes its velocity increases to supersonic speed.
The air then meets in the centre of the unit creating a corkscrew effect which in turn creates a powerful vacuum capable of passing parts through the unit.
It can be regulated over its enter output range by regulating the input pressure. Due to its straight through tube design, parts can pass through without interference or blockage.
