US/mS/TDS
Meter with Potentiometric Technology
HI 8033 is a hand-held conductivity
meter with the ability to take measurements
in 3 different conductivity ranges,
0.0 to 199.9 ?S/cm, 0 to 1999 ?S/cm
and 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm and
1 TDS range: 0 to 19990 ppm CaCO3.
The probe uses the 4-ring method
which measures conductivity with
the utmost accuracy and reliability.
The four stainless steel rings are
embedded in the resin shaft of the
probe to create a smooth surface
for fast and easy cleaning. To improve
accuracy, temperature compensation
can be performed with a knob on
the front panel of the meter.

933300 • HI 933301 - Portable
Logging Conductivity Meters with Built-in
Printer.
HI 933300 and HI 933301 are versatile
conductivity meters designed to bring
lab grade performance and accuracy
anywhere in the plant or field. HI
933300 and HI 933301 allow the user
to print a permanent, indisputable
of the measurement data at any time
for record keeping, trouble shooting
or compliance purposes. The printing
interval is user selectable from 1
to 180 minutes. When the logging mode
is activated, HI 933300 records the
conductivity and the temperature measurements
and can be printed directly or at
a later date. The stored data (up
to 8,000 measurements) can also be
downloaded to a PC through the standard
RS232 serial connection and HANNA
instruments®’s infrared
adapter & Windows® compatible
software. With the included HI 76302W
conductivity probe with 4-ring technology
and built-in temperature sensor, HI
933300 and HI 933301 are able to perform
advanced measurements with automatic
temperature compensation.

HI
8734 - Portable, Waterproof TDS Meter
with Wide Measurement Range
HI 8734 has been specially designed
for the water conditioning industry,
particularly in the softening, demineralization,
reverse osmosis and drinking water
applications. Three ranges of measurement
assure the highest accuracy possible.
All three ranges can be executed at
the touch of a button without having
to change the conductivity probe.
This makes it very easy to switch
applications without having to worry
about recalibration. To add to the
meter's accuracy and efficiency, Manual
Temperature Compensation is possible
through a knob on the front panel.
The 4-ring potentiometric probe is
made of rugged PVC for the best protection
in the field and is supplied with
a 1 m (3.3') cable to access hard
to reach areas. The ratio between
conductivity and TDS is factory calibrated
at 0.5 (CaCO3 value).

HI
8633 • HI 8733 - Reliable and
Waterproof Multi-range Conductivity
Meters
HI 8633 and HI 8733 have been designed
specifically for use in the areas
of production and quality control.
It is often necessary to test samples
with different concentrations ranging
from deionized water to brine. The
amperometric system would require
constant recalibration and probe changes,
thus making the measurement process
very time consuming and unreliable.
To solve this problem, HANNA instruments®
has developed the HI 8633, which uses
a 4-ring potentiometric probe. The
rugged probe is made of PVC - ideal
for indoor, as well as outdoor measurements.
By using one point calibration, it
is now possible to obtain accurate
readings across a very wide range,
from 0.1 to 199900 ?S/cm. If the temperature
of the solution fluctuates, HI 8733,
with a built-in temperature sensor
and Automatic Temperature Compensation,
is the perfect instrument. As an accessory,
the HI 721313 is available. The kit
includes a rugged carrying case with
a beaker, a calibration screwdriver
and standardizing solution at 12880
?S/cm.

993310 - Kit for Direct Measurement
of Soil Activity and Solutions Conductivity
HI 993310 is an instrument that has
been specifically designed to address
the question of correct and rapid
measurement of conductivity in soil
and liquids. It is supplied complete
with two probes, HI 76305 with a stainless
steel, conic tip for direct soil measurement,
and HI 76304 for fertilizer enriched
solutions. HI 993310 measures both
the soil conductivity in EC (mS/cm)
as well as salt activity in grams
per liter. The different scales can
be selected through two keys on the
front mask and two separate LED lights
indicate which parameter is being
tested. In addition, HI 993310 is
equipped with an alarm LED that automatically
turns on if the soil is too dry, or
nutritive substances such as potassium
or nitrogen are lacking. In the former
case, demineralized water is to be
added to the soil prior to proceeding
with further tests. Direct soil measurement
is facilitated by the small diameter,
stainless steel, pointed HI 76305
probe. Once inserted into the ground,
the user just needs to wait until
the meter displays the value read
by the auger-like probe.
HI 993310 is supplied complete with HI 76304 EC probe for solutions, HI 76305 stainless steel for direct soil measurements, HI 7051M soil preparation solution, HI 721319 ground auger, battery, rugged carrying case and instructions.
