HI 931100 • HI 931101 - Waterproof Instruments for Salinity and Sodium Content Measurement

HANNA instruments® has designed these two rugged waterproof salinity and sodium meters for regular use in the lab, as well as in harsh processing environments. HI 931100 is an ion-selective meter that uses a sodium electrode to read the salt (NaCl) content of a solution. This powerful instrument has four ranges, allowing measurements in concentrations from 0.150 g/L to 300 g/L. HI 931100 autoranges from sample to sample allowing an extremely wide range of measurements without recalibration. HI 931101 employs the FC 300B combination sodium electrode (not included) to give you sodium readings from 15.0 mg/L to 60 g/L. The calibration process is automatic at 2 points, the first is at 2.3 g/L while the second can be either at 0.23 g/L (low range) or at 23.0 g/L (high range). A separate temperature probe, HI 7662, provides temperature readings from 0 to 80ºC.

HI 98230 • HI 98240 - Printing and Logging pH Meters with GLP and Smart Electrode

The top-of-the-range HI 98230 and HI 98240 pH meters offer many advanced features engineered into a highly portable meter, with the added advantage of having a built-in plain paper printer, logging and log-ondemand. Featuring GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) capabilities, these instruments incorporate the HANNA instruments®’ intelligent electrode technology. All these features make HI 98230 and HI 98240 ideal for on site as well as field laboratories.

HI 98230 and HI 98240 are the perfect solution for any application where pH measurements need to be recorded. In fact, data can be stored or printed directly on demand or automatically. The stored data (up to 100 measurements on-demand and up to 1500 automatically) can also be downloaded to a PC with a standard RS232 serial connection and Hanna’s infrared adapter and HI 92000 Windows® compatible software (not included), which permits the transfer of data to other programs.

HI 98160 - Waterproof pH Meter with Auto Endpoint Function

The portable HI 98160 features our new Auto Endpoint feature, that, when selected, will automatically enter the HOLD mode, when the reading is stable. This feature will greatly simplify the process of recording measurements. With HI 98160, automatic calibration can be performed at 1 or 2 points with 8 memorized buffers to assure reliable readings over the entire measurement range. HI 98160 has a backlit display to make clear readings in dark environments. By simply pressing one button, the user can store any information concerning each reading. More than 500 measurements, complete with date and time, can be stored and recalled, or transferred to the computer. The connection is established through an RS232 serial port, using the HI 92000 Windows® compatible software (optional).

HI 98140 • HI 98150 - Waterproof pH Meters with Smart Electrodes and Log-On-Demand

HI 98140 and HI 98150 are two of the most innovative portable pH meters ever offered. These instruments feature IP 67 waterproof protection, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) capabilities and use the HANNA instruments®’ intelligent electrodes. These pH electrodes incorporate a chip which memorizes the calibration data performed with a specific instrument. When the “intelligent” electrode is attached to the meter again, it is automatically recognized. This technology allows the operator to optimize time and efficiency with unsurpassed safety. It avoids erroneous measurements taken in the event the pH electrode is substituted after calibration. This series of electrodes also incorporates a temperature sensor, eliminating the need for an additional temperature probe. HI 98140 and HI 98150 feature all the most advanced features of laboratory pH meters. Moreover they are provided with a dual level LCD which facilitates operation in dimly lit locations. By pressing a button, these meters can store up to 500 measurements complete with date and hour. Stored data can be displayed later or downloaded to a computer through an RS232 serial port and the HI 92000 Windows® compatable software.
